A collection born at the intersection of colonization and cultural survival, past and present. Inspired by the Aztec papalotl, the butterfly that carried souls of warriors and women to the beyond this work speaks for those whose voices are silenced. Through macrame, structure, shadow, and light, it honors the unspoken strength of those navigating migration, memory, and identity. The butterfly becomes a witness: to beauty, to loss, and to resistance.
